On September 11 , 2001 some Al-Qaeda extremist terrorist hijacked 4 US based commercial airplanes.

• World Trade Centre – Two hijacked plan [ American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 ] was crashed into the  North and South building of World Trade Centre .
• The Pentagon -Third hijacked plan [American Airlines Flight 77] was crashed into Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia result into collapse of building .
• White House – Fourth Flight [United Airlines Flight 93] was set to target the white house but was unsuccessful in their attempt.

This event attracted global attention toward terrorism and raised the question of global unity to control it.
